Don’t get me wrong, wrongful execution is the biggest problem with the death penalty, but if your defendant was someone like Josef Mangele or Heinrich Himmler, I don’t think you need to worry about that.

No due to the fact that mistrials can occur. Once you’ve killed someone who was actually not guilty it’s pretty hard to make that up afterwards.
