My favorite such distinction that studios had to make was the number of butt slaps in a scene. Like, a certain amount is just the participants getting a little rowdy, but when does it turn into spanking porn (which apparently is treated differently by payment processors)? So someone sets a number of slaps, and someone else gets to count them. Yup. Fun.
