There’s a certain community there that I’d like to filter because a) I find the content/discussions to just be generally awful circlejerky nonsense and b) it’s polluting the “All” section that I like to browse.

In the dropdown menu of a post from this community there should be an option to block the whole community.

I’m not seeing it anywhere? I wish there was just a simple “filter” button or the equivalent of RES for Lemmy.

You are right, sorry. Seems like that was only on Jerboa.

EDIT: In the settings there is a block tab where you can add communities to the block list.

Thank you very much, that worked perfectly! Finally I no longer have to see this community’s content.

it really should be an option next to any subscribe button, great feed curation is about subtraction as much as addition.

I gotta ask, is this like a coping mechanism because you wish the nazis won in WWII or something? I see your posts around here sometimes and I often wonder if maybe this is some weird cry for attention. Life’s too short to be this dedicated to trolling.

A loosely moderated place to ask open ended questions

If your post is

  1. Open ended
  2. Not offensive
  3. Not regarding lemmy support (c/lemmy_support)
  4. not ad nauseam inducing (please make sure its a question that would be new to most members)

it’s welcome here!
