It seems the Nazi party ordered to record The Internationale for the 1936 Olympic games, for which the USSR ended up not going after Germany supported the Franco regime in Spain. According to a comment there there was also one other time when the Nazi party played this song “when Molotov arrived in a train in Berlin in November 1940 for further talks after the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact got signed in Aug of 1939”.
