Overall very satisfied even if I read much more than I post/comment. But discussion tend to be civil and constructive, and moderation is quite on point regarding my polital limits of what is acceptable.

Everyone in this community is politically obsessed, and the administrators don’t think twice about banning anybody whose views differ from theirs.

Beehaw is a more generalized instance that I can suggest

Since most of communities are here. There isn’t much benefit to join other instances. Also this answer is duplicate of previous one.

join a different instance ffs. may i suggest sopuli.xyz?’

Yes and that’s good.

That was a major selling point for most of us. If you’re not a leftist, iirc, beehaw.org is political neutral and you should join that instead of lemmy.ml.

Users are generally way more civil than in R*ddit.

Also lemmy.ml and lemmygrad.ml mods actually ban Nazis and porn.

All instances i know of ban nazis and porn

can confirm, admins/mods on feddit.de actually do good moderation work!

I like Salamander the Mander dev as he posts a lot of cool stuff. I float around Feddit a bit but I mainly just read and never say anything because my Italian sucks I can only get pieces most of the time.

The lemmygrad hivemind circle jerk club is only a notch above that in intelligence though…

Sad but true.

@Redpandalovely@midwest.social

you guys are the irl couple right?

You guys might be the first couple of lemmy!

Yes!

We are!

Thank you @seahorse@midwest.social You’re so sweet.

Everybody here seems nice and civil, and I like that. I have no complaints.

There’s the occasional spambot, but they quickly get banned by mods.
