I’m the one who complained about screenshots of libshit in Genzedong and British Communism. Though I didn’t call out Rose directly, someone else mentioned them in the thread.

Don’t know but I noticed that the reddit genzedong bots seem to be gone now too. No more download links for videos or even automod messages about coming here. Coincidence?
Lol if you think they need you to sign in to “keep tabs on you”. The stated purpose of having to have a registered email and being logged in to view a quarantined sub is to starve it of oxygen and the light of day, to make it harder to discover organically, to keep people from viewing and engaging with it, to protect them from the horrible communist ideology.
Use a throw-away email account or one registered with a Russian company like yandex if you think it matters (it doesn’t to the national security state tracking you but it’s worth not using your main email anyways for infosec reasons to prevent easy linking and compromise by say channer fascists with too much time and a database dump).
I’d also say if you aren’t using old reddit it’s pretty easy for them to track you across reddit anyways, it is on old reddit too but easier on new reddit.
In fact I’ve been having a problem with being repeatedly (every time I close my browser) signed out of my main reddit account. Strangely when I sign into another reddit account that isn’t subbed to communist subs it stays logged in just fine. I do admittedly block their new (since the reddit place reboot) datadome third party anti-botting platform by preventing its javascript from running but they don’t care about that on any accounts but my communist one so clearly they’re convinced I’m a Russian/Chinese bot and want to throw that in my way.
I haven’t really been on reddit lately, but isn’t it just quarantined? I think you need to have a verified email associated with your account to view it.

How should people on here deal with going away for some time? Announce it, giving away some privacy? I will be gone for up to a month in a while with limited internet, and while I don’t consider myself to be really important, I wouldn’t want people to worry about me being dead or something lol.
I sort of expect it from the Dutch. Dutch leftist imo sometimes think they reinvented the wheel of socialism, so a place full of ML’s doesn’t appeal to them. Too radical.
I did expect more Belgium people though. They have a bigger socialist base. Especially the Walloons.
But it’s part of this ideology I guess. Not that we’re in constant danger or anything but being here gets you on list for sure. Living in the west keeps me sort of safe but there are people here that do have some serious safety concerns. So someone disappearing is worrying sometimes.

That account was indeed helpful for that stage in lemmygrad’s history. coming here from reddit to no memes and pure discussions or news posts with very little activity might have been jarring for me and many others.
I forget who made a post about blocking Comrade Rose, but I did the same! Personally, that much stimulation makes head hurty. I find myself taking the time to slow down and read through wordy posts again :).
The recycled memes tend to fill up the page and make it more difficult to encounter discussion posts or posts of a wider variety from smaller communities.
I don’t care to spend that much time watching liberals take an L, news reports from months ago, or memes from reddit. (and to be clear I don’t mind at all when people post that, I do it myself, but the constant barrage is something else imo).

Def would suck if we lost the only (as far as I’m aware) low country comrade on here. Quite a blow for a far reaching community like we have here.
I always wonder how many Dutch/Belgian people are on here. I’ve seen maybe 2-3 so far but they became pretty inactive quickly.
