you’d think they give experimental medications to the poor in exchange for cash
This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.
If you haven’t already found it, this GitHub page is an excellent collection of sources about socialism, imperialism, and other relevant topics, made by @dessalines and others.
We have a Matrix homeserver and a private Matrix room. See this thread for more information.

They definitely do. You can volunteer for such trials. The pay isn’t very good though, maybe enough for a few days worth of groceries.
Prisoners have also been used for medical and cosmetic experimentation.
MK Ultra rings a bell?
Yep:
I bet they still do this shit, just even more secretly.
Yeah, the US has frightening statistics on missing persons, and the cops are too busy imprisoning poor and homeless people to spend resources looking for missing ones. Would be trivial for them to go into any of the dozens of homeless encampments in any city, throw them into a van, and never hear from them again.
What are the stats on missing persons? I haven’t heard about this before
https://namus.nij.ojp.gov/
In the US:
600,000 Individuals go missing every year
4,400 Unidentified bodies are recovered each year
Is that number of those that went missing and are never found or does that include every missing like people who were found after few days?
A lot get recovered, but that source at least says that tens of thousands remain missing after a year, and 4.4k are found dead each year.
It’s not even illegal for them to. It wasn’t until 2018 they were even told they should be ethical about it. Or suggested, I guess, would be a better word.
Oh they do

Beat me to the punch on that one, comrade xD
Haha there’s enough crimes the us government committed against their own citizens to go around 🤣
How about the time they released a dangerous chemical/biological weapon on san francisco to test the effects lmao: https://www.democracynow.org/2005/7/13/how_the_u_s_government_exposed
Not to mention all the innumerable times that the US was fine with letting people who live near medical factories get cancer because of the fumes and carcinogenic materials. I mean I read about those events in the paper so often
Human life is just another form of capital to those people. A resource to be exploited used and discarded.
Drug trials are very common. They can basically give you literal cyanide and then compensate you with 10 dollars and a Starbuck coupon.
I mean…they do in a roundabout way. Not completely intentionally but they don’t give a shit about peoples health during Medical drug testing trials. I listen to a podcast where a guest explains that he sells his plasma to afford rent(around 100-200$USD each time he donates), and he said after doing it a few times, his bones started to ache. He did a little research and found out that in Europe and many other places, you can only donate plasma every 2 weeks and you have to be in ok shape to give plasma. Basically this guest was going 4 times a week because US regulations on plasma donations are SO weak and geared towards profit that they allow people to hurt themselves for cash. The guest said himself that the US doesn’t care about the heath of the patient, they are just after the cash in their veins. Not to mention that the guest also takes trial drugs that may or may not be safe, he also isn’t allowed to impregnate anyone because his sperm is most likely hazardous for a baby to develop properly. The guest rents out a basement. So I mean is that human experimentation? Some would say no some would say yes, but the US certainly isn’t working hard to take an Anti-human-experimentation position. It’s not like Nazi experiments where they would do god awful things to twins and minorities in the name of “science” these days, it usually is part of medical studies and as coercive as it is, the US can claim people are doing this willingly, which we all know isn’t true.
That is fucked. Up.
I have multiple family members forced into selling plasma here in the US right now with inflation, even encouraging me to do the same. Our local plasma place forces you to do to 2x a week and you get more money the more often and longer you do it, and once you miss 1 day it’s reset to baseline pay. It feels wrong in every way yet my family thinks it’s totally normal. You’re expected to do stuff like this here to survive.
People should be donating blood because they wanna help other people, not to survive a failed economic system.
I don’t know if this counts but I do remember something about the CIA trafficking cocaine into predominantly black neighbourhoods to essentially fuel the War On Drugs.
I doubt they would pay poor people for eggs or sperm. The fertility industry is full of eugenics.
Yeah to donate sperm across the U.S. you usually need to be 6ft+, have a bachelor’s degree or are pursuing one, and I’m sure blonde hair and blue eyes are a plus
edit: “donate sperm”, first result
Damn you can’t even be gay with one partner. That’s fucked up.
Utterly amazes me that many otherwise well-intentioned people seem to think that there’s some plausible science justifying the continued homophobic, exclusionary policies wrt blood/sperm donations, when they epitomize the continuation of decades of the systematic ignorance about AIDS and STDs stemming from the Reagan administration. Women get HIV, too, believe it or not! They’re also supposed to be testing the donations regardless, but who knows if they regularly do.
Makes you think, right? Like, why not have gay people with one steady partner do donations? Can’t be aids, right? Because I sure hope they test every single one of the people donating.
So what’s the difference?
Yeah, it’s not even the crudest excuse of AIDS, it’s straight up “we believe gay is inheritable”.
Imagine living in a nation where the amount of money they’ll pay you to experimentally expose yourself to harm is less than the amount of money you need to pay for the medical care you’ll need afterwards.
To this day many statesian sell their blood plasma.
Many US residents do sell their blood, but apparently not enough to meet the demand:
2019: Pharmaceutical Companies Are Luring Mexicans Across the U.S. Border to Donate Blood Plasma
2021: The U.S. Is Closing a Loophole That Lured Mexicans Over the Border to Donate Blood Plasma for Cash
2022: Pharma Companies Sue for the Right to Buy Blood From Mexicans Along Border
They do, surely? I’m from the UK and I’ve been part of a paid medical trial for a pharmaceutical company before.
Pharma does this constantly

Neoliberalism has outsourced all of the human experimentation jobs to the global south.
