For watching YouTube without ads, besides the already mentioned Newpipe, Piped, and Invidious there is also FreeTube app which can be configured to use Tor proxy.
I only used Odysee as I tend to watch few content creator who talks about Linux, I just avoid watching much video outside the content creator I know as some videos on there are questionable to say the least.

I have LibreTube installed on my phone, I got it from F-Droid and it works well. i just update the instance every once in awhile
