One thing I’ve noticed about Zizek is that he never really talks about economics. I suspect that if you pinned him down and had him give an account of how he thinks the economy should be organized, he’d say something functionally indistinguishable from Bernie Sanders.

Zizek has his place but he definitely over complicates his books. He’s also a liberal intellectual with plenty of terrible views.
