Aotearoa New Zealand isn’t a social democracy, it’s a neoliberal hellscape

Lol that moment when Kirby brags about his lack of intelligence. Peak yankee

She spelt imperialism wrong. China is committed to internationalism, Davos is committed to imperialism

All trumped by the almighty cat. They’re so liddle but they think they’re so tough, and then they make the cute noises

Cats are the cutest animal on the planet, why wouldn’t you post them? Have you seen cats?!

During the cold war, the anticommunist ideological framework could transform any data about existing communist societies into hostile evidence. If the Soviets refused to negotiate a point, they were intransigent and belligerent; if they appeared willing to make concessions, this was but a skillful ploy to put us off our guard. By opposing arms limitations, they would have demonstrated their aggressive intent; but when in fact they supported most armament treaties, it was because they were mendacious and manipulative. If the churches in the USSR were empty, this demonstrated that religion was suppressed; but if the churches were full, this meant the people were rejecting the regime’s atheistic ideology. If the workers went on strike (as happened on infrequent occasions), this was evidence of their alienation from the collectivist system; if they didn’t go on strike, this was because they were intimidated and lacked freedom. A scarcity of consumer goods demonstrated the failure of the economic system; an improvement in consumer supplies meant only that the leaders were attempting to placate a restive population and so maintain a firmer hold over them. If communists in the United States played an important role struggling for the rights of workers, the poor, African-Americans, women, and others, this was only their guileful way of gathering support among disfranchised groups and gaining power for themselves. How one gained power by fighting for the rights of powerless groups was never explained. What we are dealing with is a nonfalsifiable orthodoxy, so assiduously marketed by the ruling interests that it affected people across the entire political spectrum.

Wife has got covid, tested positive the day we were supposed to leave for Christmas holidays. Just fuck all those countries that failed to contain the virus due to ineptitude

Go ahead, send them to horny jail. Exactly where all the other horny people are

Oh that is going in the Christmas cards this year for sure

“For the lack of a better term[…]” the better term is already marxist-leninist

Someone who needs to get a grip. Buying a phone ain’t gonna help shit

Many websites still list USSR. As part of my job I have to look at passports and our portal still has it as an option.

By the way the answer is, they slashed wages and decimated working conditions

CPUSA needs to update its line. Participation in electoralism only works whilst the working class still believes the vote is legitimate

article from Aotearoa highlights how US financial policy is pulling money from the empire back into Wall St

Most people don’t know any alternative. There is no clear organisation that had demonstrated it can do any better so where are they to turn? Revolutions don’t spring out of holes in the ground comrade

Dianectical materialism?! Is that scientology meets marxism?

No due to the fact that mistrials can occur. Once you’ve killed someone who was actually not guilty it’s pretty hard to make that up afterwards.

What do you mean general discussion threat? Is particpation mandatory?

“Hatred of Israel is an inseparable part of its agenda […], occassionally” I mean it’s either inseparable or it’s not

Karl Marx’s birthday
Greetings comrades today marks the 204th anniversary of Karl Marx's birth. Mark the celebration how you will
