Snowpiercer is one of my favourites. Its amazing how you can take a seemingly silly idea about an apocalypse where the sole remaining human survivors are stuck on a train powered by a perpetual motion engine, and make it that good.
Also Snowpiercer is a sequel to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Off the top of my head: France or Greece. They are the only countries in western europe I can think of with moderate to large socialist movements. Of course, as long as the US exists as a world power there will not be any socialism anywhere in europe.
Thankfully the US is in a spiralling decline, so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long.
There is no such thing as a centrist. Put even a small amount of pressure on a self-proclaimed “centrist” and 200% of the time they will immediately fall in line with the right wing narrative. Centrists are just right wingers in denial, or right wingers who don’t want to announce publicly that they are right wing. Sorry if that doesn’t really answer your question but this is my view regarding “centrists”.
I never understood how people can call Russia “imperialist.” Russia doesn’t coup other nations’ democratically elected governments, doesn’t invade countries half way across the planet to maintain hegemony, etc. Russia is a capitalist oligarchy but it isn’t imperialist. The USA is the greatest imperialist power and the priority should be weakening it. The world will be free if the US is defeated, if Russia is defeated it will only make the US more powerful.
